Ms. Sonya Jacobs is a Level III teacher and has been teaching at Turquoise Trail Charter School for ten years. Prior to coming to Turquoise Trail Charter School, she was a school librarian for one year and a Special Education Instructional Assistant for nine years. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a Science endorsement from the University of New Mexico and received a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading emphasis from Highlands University. She has also obtained a Reading endorsement from the College of Santa Fe and a TESOL endorsement.
